Hello World!

Hi, I’m Jessica, a solo traveler who has been to 41 countries and is nowhere near done.

People often ask what keeps me going, and the honest answer isn’t the landmarks or the passport stamps. It’s the people. Along the way, strangers have guided me, shared a piece of their lives, and passed on a little of their wisdom. Those moments are the real reason I keep doing this.

Traveling alone has taught me that the kindness of strangers keeps me safe, and it keeps me going. A shared meal, a pointed direction, or a story told over a long afternoon can change a whole trip, and often a bit of me along with it.

My goal is to one day visit all 195 countries in the world. I don’t know exactly how or when I’ll get there, but I’m enjoying the journey, one conversation at a time.

This blog is where I’ll share the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, and what they’ve taught me. I’m glad you’re here. Come along.

Jessica
